Don't really know much about her but it's safe to say that she followed in the tradition of those that came before her like Sarah Vaughan, Ella and Billie
Love the fact that you can’t really categorise her style of music. Aside from putting her in a box (categorising her style of music), her vocal style is filled with intense passion with an unusually low vocal range which makes her the more sensational and lovely to listen to.
The lady who paid great attention to the musical expression of emotions....
